The Kelly brand started in 1953 with George Kelly Sr. in Verona, PA. The Chevrolet dealership consisted of a small one-car showroom and four service bays. In 1957, the dealership moved to Butler, PA and added the Cadillac franchise. Toyota of Lancaster (George's son) eventually took over as owner of the dealership in 1997. Since then, Kelly's has expanded to franchises including Hyundai and Kia. Toyota of Lancaster Automotive is now third generation, family owned with Brendan Kelly handling the daily operations of the business and now franchising with Toyota!
